Toyoda

Today I took the boys for a run in the jogging stroller. Ian pointed out a Mazda that drove by (no surprise knowing the gear head that his father is...). I said, "Ian, we have a Mazda...What is Daddy's new truck?" Ian said: "It's a Toyoda [very excited] like that Star Wars guy." I was a little confused at first and amidst traffic noise tried to ask him to clarify. He quickly replied: "Toy-yoda. Like Yoda!"

It makes me realize that the English language is confusing-- so many words sound like others or have double or triple meanings! Chris is a wonderful dad, husband, and friend. He works hard everyday to provide for our family. We are excited to see where his legal career will take him next; he thoroughly enjoys his current position as a law clerk/bailiff. He also keeps busy with his new calling as stake clerk, hanging out with Jenny and playing with the busy boys, and staying updated on Engadget and Autoblog (ALL while chewing Orbit bubblemint gum--talk about being multi-talented!). Chris enjoys downtime playing his new PS3 (finally convinced Jenny of its "necessity") but is willing to help whenever (and whoever) he can, which includes doing the dishes for which Jenny is very grateful.
