Updated Update

Okay- we got a couple of atrocious bids for repairing the lappy (like 300 bucks and two weeks or more) and finally found a place just down the street from us that says they can re-solder the charging port in a couple of days for about forty dollars. Bad news is that until then we have no real internet-just my smartphone- so we will be a little out of the loop.
