Peas, Please!

As avid readers of our Blog will know, we started Cooper on solids a couple of weeks ago; we are expanding his repertoire of foods a little bit at a time, and the fact that I made WAY too many peas for dinner tonight seemed like as good a reason as any to let him try his first vegetable. I was all for just giving him one or two peas at a time and seeing what he did with them. Jenny, however, insisted that we mash them up, so all of you who are exceptionally sensitive to violence against vegetables or just hate peas (I'm looking at you, Dad) should probably leave the room now.

We couldn't get enough of Cooper's funny reaction! He made the same face basically every time we put a spoonful (or, when Jenny wasn't looking, a pea) into his mouth, but he kept coming back for more. We love having nutty kids-- it confirms that they actually are ours!

That is adorable!! I love how babies have to "adjust" to new flavors! Too cute!

that's the funniest thing I've ever seen! You need to get this kid an agent. He could make you millions.
